Part of CropLife UK, the Agricultural Biotechnology Council (ABC) comprises of member companies that work with the food chain and research community to invest in a broad range of crop technologies. This includes gene editing, which will soon be implemented in England. These technologies are designed to promote the sustainable intensification of agriculture by addressing challenges such as pests, diseases, and changing climatic conditions while reducing water usage, greenhouse gas emissions, and other inputs.

With our chairs and members, our goal is to provide information and education about the agricultural use of genetic technologies in the UK, respecting public interest, opinions, and concerns.
